Updated 2026-05-27

This policy explains how VolTix (operated by Oli Armstrong, Queensland, Australia) handles your personal information, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. What we collect

  • Account information: your name and email address.
  • Billing information: subscription status and a customer identifier from Stripe. Your full payment-card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us.
  • Usage information: how you interact with the dashboard (e.g. tickers viewed, features used), and technical data such as device/browser and error logs.

2. How we use it

To create and manage your account; to provide and improve the service; to process your subscription and trial; to communicate with you about your account, trial, and service updates; to monitor and fix errors; and to comply with our legal obligations.

3. Who we share it with (service providers)

We use trusted third parties to run VolTix, and share only what is necessary:

  • Supabase — authentication and login.
  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
  • Railway — application hosting and database.
  • Vercel — frontend hosting.
  • Sentry — error monitoring.
  • Anthropic — generation of AI market-structure commentary (we do not send your personal identity in these requests).
  • Market-data providers (e.g. Polygon.io) supply the market data; we do not send them your personal information.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.

4. Storage, security and location

Your data is stored on infrastructure operated by the providers above, which may process data outside Australia (including the United States). We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure.

5. Retention

We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed to meet legal, accounting, and operational requirements. You may request deletion (see below).

6. Your rights

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information, and you may request deletion of your account. Contact us at oarmstrong494@gmail.com. You may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe we have mishandled your information.

7. Cookies

We use cookies necessary for authentication (keeping you logged in) and, where applicable, for basic analytics. You can control cookies via your browser, but disabling essential cookies will break login.
