This policy explains how VolTix (operated by Oli Armstrong, Queensland, Australia) handles your personal information, consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. What we collect
- Account information: your name and email address.
- Billing information: subscription status and a customer identifier from Stripe. Your full payment-card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us.
- Daily levels email (optional):if you sign up at /daily-levels, your email address, the wording you agreed to and when, whether you confirmed, and — if you started from our Discord bot's
!subscribe— your Discord user ID, so we can tell which sign-ups came from Discord. It is used to send that email and nothing else, and we record whether each email was delivered, bounced or marked as spam. Unsubscribing stops that email immediately; we keep the address, the consent record and the unsubscribe date so we can show consent was given and never send it again. Email us to have them deleted. - Usage information: how you interact with the dashboard (e.g. tickers viewed, features used), and technical data such as device/browser and error logs.
2. How we use it
To create and manage your account; to provide and improve the service; to process your subscription; to communicate with you about your account and service updates; to monitor and fix errors; and to comply with our legal obligations.
3. Who we share it with (service providers)
We use trusted third parties to run VolTix, and share only what is necessary:
- Supabase — authentication and login.
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
- Railway — application hosting and database.
- Vercel — frontend hosting.
- Sentry — error monitoring.
- Resend — email delivery (alerts, and the daily levels email if you opted in).
- Anthropic — generation of AI market-structure commentary (we do not send your personal identity in these requests).
- Market-data providers (e.g. Polygon.io) supply the market data; we do not send them your personal information.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.
4. Storage, security and location
Your data is stored on infrastructure operated by the providers above, which may process data outside Australia (including the United States). We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure.
5. Retention
We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed to meet legal, accounting, and operational requirements. You may request deletion (see below).
6. Your rights
You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information, and you may request deletion of your account. Contact us at oarmstrong494@gmail.com. You may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe we have mishandled your information.
7. Cookies
We use cookies necessary for authentication (keeping you logged in) and, where applicable, for basic analytics. You can control cookies via your browser, but disabling essential cookies will break login.
8. The Chrome extension
VolTix Levels for TradingView is our optional browser extension. It collects nothing, transmits nothing to third parties, and sells nothing. On your own device, in chrome.storage.local, it stores the licence key you connect it with, your display preferences, and a cache of the most recent levels response so a chart can redraw without re-fetching. It contacts only the VolTix API, to fetch the levels your subscription entitles you to; it runs on TradingView chart pages to draw the overlay, and on your VolTix account page solely to receive the licence key when you click Connect. Your licence key is never passed to TradingView — that page receives a levels payload and nothing else. Uninstalling the extension removes everything it stored.

We may update this policy and will post the new “Updated” date here; material changes will be notified by email or in-app.
